Antico Pizza in Atlanta opened its doors in 2009, quickly gaining a reputation for its authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. Founded by Giovanni “Gio” Di Palma, the pizzeria became the cornerstone of what is now known as “Little Italia” in West Midtown, an area that includes several other of Di Palma’s Italian eateries. Antico’s dedication to using high-quality, traditional ingredients and its distinctive wood-fired ovens have made it a beloved culinary destination. Over the years, Antico has expanded its influence beyond Atlanta, opening locations in other cities while continuing to garner accolades, including being named one of the tastiest destinations in Atlanta by Sports Illustrated & winning a Michelin Star in 2023.
